The developer said the site had strong winds

Plans to build a windfarm in a County Durham village with turbines of up to 410ft (125m) have been unveiled.
Banks Developments wants to erect 10 turbines at Barmpton, near Darlington.
The company said detailed proposals are still in development but the location has been chosen due to the recorded high strength of the wind in the area.
It said a public consultation exercise would take place and it would try to ensure the farm's design would not raise concerns with local people.
Stuart Provan, senior development planner for Banks Developments, said: "Our analysis shows that the landscape around the Barmpton area is the most suitable location for such a scheme.
"Regarding any concerns that people might have about the development we strongly believe that the scheme can be designed in such a way as to successfully alleviate them."
A planning application is expected to be submitted to Darlington Council in 2009.
