Four 18-year-olds killed in a car crash in Buckinghamshire early on Sunday have been named by police.

A 17-year-old who was also in the Ford Fiesta when it hit a tree on the A422 Brackley Road at Westbury at 0050 BST, remains critically ill in hospital.

The victims were named as James Bowyer, from Marsh Gibbon, Oxfordshire, and Lee Grimshaw, from Brackley, Northants.

Edward Manders-Naden, from Calvert Green, Bucks, and Kirk Nokes, from Buckingham, also died in the crash.

A police spokesman urged anyone who witnessed the crash, which is not thought to have involved any other vehicles, to contact them.

The road was closed for several hours as collision investigators examined the scene but has been reopened and an investigation continues into the cause of the crash.
