Volunteers to keep streets clean
A scheme to get residents to help keep their neighbourhood clean and tidy is looking for more volunteers.

Street Champions, run by Darlington Council and the regeneration charity Groundwork, was set up a year ago.

There are more than 100 "champions" who encourage their neighbours to take pride in the environment and report fly tipping or graffiti.

Volunteers are needed to help report any problems in their area with fly tipping or graffiti.
