Workshops are being staged to help farmers manage their hay meadows.
The workshops are aimed at new farmers
The North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) Partnership says its events are specifically designed to aid people new to agriculture.
The AONB spans Cumbria, Northumberland, County Durham and Teesdale and features many flower-rich hay meadows.
The first workshop, at the Masonic Hall, Middleton-in-Teesdale, on 10 March, is followed by a second in Allendale, near Hexham, two days later.
John O'Reilly, Hay Time project officer, said: "Many flower-rich meadows in the North Pennines are owned by people who are relatively new to farming.
"We are keen to support them and, in particular, to identify any particular difficulties they may be having in managing their meadows that we could help with."
