Ten charged over soccer violence
Police have charged 10 men with affray following violence after a pre-season football match between Carlisle United and Newcastle United.

The charges relate to a fight in a pub after the game at Carlisle's Brunton Park ground on 21 July last year.

The men - all from the Newcastle area - have been given bail to appear before Carlisle magistrates on Thursday.

Cumbria Police used CCTV footage from the force's camera van in a bid to identify the culprits.
