'Barrister' is charged with fraud
A man has been charged with fraud after posing as a human rights lawyer to detainees at Yarl's Wood immigration centre in Bedfordshire.

Alan Kamara Francis faces eight counts of fraud in respect of misrepresenting himself as a barrister and an immigration advisor.

Mr Francis of Church Road, Crystal Palace, south London, was arrested by the Economic Crime Unit in Greyfriars.

The 48-year-old is due before Bedford Magistrates Court later.
