Four injured in ambulance crash
Four people were taken to hospital after a crash between an ambulance and a van.

Police said the 999 vehicle was attending an emergency call when the collision happened on the A264 at Blackham, in East Sussex, on Saturday.

It was on its way from its base in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, to Edenbridge.

Appealing for witnesses, a spokesman for Sussex Police said the crash, at about 1320 GMT, also involved a grey-coloured Renault Trafic van.

He said the four people taken to hospital had suffered minor injuries in the collision.

Officers want to trace the occupants of another vehicle, possibly a Ford Focus, who stopped at the scene to offer assistance.
