Drink workers' strike called off
Coca-Cola cans
Talks are to be held between the drinks firm and the union
A planned strike by workers at a Coca-Cola plant has been cancelled.

Workers at the firm's factory in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, had planned to hold the 24-hour action on Thursday over a pay dispute.

Last month workers downed tools at the plant with Union unite saying it was angry at a below-inflation pay increase offered to workers by the drinks firm.

Fresh talks between the company and officials from the union are due to be held next week.

Workers at the firm's bottling and distribution centre in Wakefield, West Yorkshire, opted to cancel a planned stoppage there on Tuesday.
