Two robbers on-run from open jail

Two convicts have gone on the run after absconding from Hollesley Bay open prison in Suffolk.

David Anthony Slack, 36, and James Rocky Purcell were both discovered missing at midday on Sunday.

Slack was serving a term of nine years and seven months and Purcell was serving five years and eight months, both for robbery.

A third prisoner, Gary Pierre Aubin, 36, serving eight years for robbery, has been missing since 31 May.

Slack is described as white with a fair complexion, 5ft 10in (178cm), with brown hair and blue eyes.

He has a scar on the side of his neck and a Bob Dylan tattoo on his shoulder.

Do not approach

He has connections to Hull, East Yorkshire and Toxteth, Liverpool.

Purcell is described as white with a fair complexion, 5ft 11in, of stocky build, with brown hair, brown eyes and a scar on his right hand. He has connections to the Edgware area of London.

Aubin is described as white, 6ft 2in (188cm), of proportionate build, with cropped fair hair and green eyes.

The prisoner, who wears glasses and has several tattoos, has connections in the Faversham and Ramsgate areas of Kent.

Police are advising anyone spotting the three not to approach them but to alert officers.
