A public funeral has been arranged in honour of a six-year-old boy who was found murdered at his home in Surrey.
The family of Jethro Field said his friends and anyone else who wished to attend would be welcome at the service in Farncombe on 23 May.
Jethro was found dead at a house in George Road in the town on 4 April. He had been hit with a brick and stabbed.
His father, Dafydd Field, 52, was charged with murder, but was found dead in his prison cell on 10 April.
Jethro's mother, Stevie Field, said her son's funeral would be held at the Church of St John the Evangelist at 1400 BST on 23 May.
Play equipment fund
It will be followed by a private burial service for family and close friends only.
"I would like to express my appreciation for all the support which the family and I have received from so many members of the local community," Mrs Field said.
She has asked for mourners at the funeral to make a donation to a fund raising money for replacement play equipment at Broadwater Park in Farncombe, where Jethro enjoyed going with his friends.
Dafydd Field handed himself in at a police station in Tywyn, Gwynedd, Wales, two hours after his son's body was discovered.
He had earlier called 999 saying he had killed Jethro.
Mr Field was on remand at HMP Lewes, in East Sussex, when he apparently electrocuted himself six days later.
Contributions can be made via the funeral directors, J Gorringe and Sons, and collections will be held at the end of the service.
