A Teesside man has died in hospital following a collision on the A1 in North Yorkshire.
The man, from Middlesbrough, was driving a Ford Transit pick-up when it collided with a lorry at Ainderby Quernhow, north of Ripon.
He was airlifted to Middlesbrough's James Cook University Hospital where he died of his injuries.
The A1 northbound was closed for several hours following the crash, which happened on Monday afternoon.
North Yorkshire Police have appealed for anyone who witnessed the incident to contact them.
