Water firm rules out hosepipe ban
South West Water (SWW) says there will be no water restrictions this summer, the 11th year in a row.

The company says the South West has missed out on the droughts which have affected the South East over the past two years.

As a result its reservoirs are 90% full, 6% higher than at this time last year and 40% higher than last November.

SWW thanked its customers for using water wisely. Nearly 60% of households are now on a water meter.
