Six flood warnings still in force
River Great Ouse
Floods have hit homes along the River Great Ouse
Six flood warnings remain in force along 80 miles of the River Great Ouse in the east of England.

Homes and businesses are facing floods along sections of the river stretching from Thornborough in Buckinghamshire, to St Ives in Cambridgeshire.

The warnings also cover the river through Newport Pagnell and Bedford.

Landguard and Trinity container terminals at the port of Felixstowe in Suffolk remain closed because cranes cannot work in the high winds.

Container lorries were queuing along the A14 into Felixstowe on Friday morning, causing disruption to traffic.

Engineers worked all night to restore power to 5,000 homes and schools in Norfolk, Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire.

The A1123 road at Earith in Cambridgeshire and Mountnessing Road near the A129 in Billericay, Essex, were both closed by flooding.
