Trial over hunt clashes dismissed
Seven people charged with aggravated trespass over clashes between hunt supporters and anti-hunt protesters have had their case dismissed.

The five men and two women, from London and Hertfordshire, were arrested after a disturbance in February on farmland at Brede, near Hastings, East Sussex.

Their case went to trial at Hastings Magistrates' Court but it was dismissed when no evidence was offered.

The incident took place on 21 February and left one man in hospital.

The prosecution offered no evidence at the court on 8 September.
