Man denies killing British expat

A man accused of murdering a man in Spain whose body has never been found has denied the charge.

Stuart Martin, 29, of Bramble Way, Hollingbury, Brighton, pleaded not guilty when he appeared at Maidstone Crown Court on Tuesday.

He is accused of killing British expat Francis Ottley, 56, originally of Dover, Kent, who went travelling in Spain but has not been seen since 2005.

Unemployed Mr Martin will return to court on 26 January.
