Deadline for open spaces review
People living in Darlington have just seven more days to give their views on plans to improve open spaces and parks.

They include an open space for every 1,000 people and play equipment within a 10-minute walk from the homes of 85% of the area's children.

The plans are based on a survey carried out by Darlington Borough Council staff in 2005.

Proposals also include making the Denes and North Park more attractive. The deadline for comments is 3 November.
