Train link back after derailment

Services were delayed by up to two hours after the incident

Train services between Cambridge and Norwich have returned to normal after engineers worked all night to repair track following a derailment.

A train carrying seven passengers came off the rails at Croxton, near Thetford in Norfolk, early on Tuesday morning.

British Transport Police said the train hit a rubber paving block which had become dislodged on a level crossing.

A One Railway spokesman said the train had been put back on the tracks and taken to a depot for repairs.

There are slight delays to services due to a speed limit across the level crossing.
