Festival crash victims are named

Two men and a woman in the people carrier died at the scene
Three people killed in a crash on the M25 in Essex as they travelled home from a music festival have been named by police.

The accident happened early on Monday when a people carrier with six people in it left the motorway and went down an embankment.

Paul Smith, 26, Joanna Walker, 18, and Andrew Lucas, 21, all from Maidstone, Kent, were declared dead at the scene.

They were on their way home from the V festival in Staffordshire.

The woman who was driving was trapped in the car for an hour and suffered serious injuries.

A man and a woman sitting in the back of the vehicle had minor injuries.
