Brewery wins export trade award
A brewery set up in a village on the border of Suffolk and Norfolk 10 years ago has won a special award for international trade.

St Peter's Brewery in South Elmham, near Bungay, has increased its export sales by 83% in the past two years.

The private company now trades in 17 countries across the world.

They are one of a number of companies to be recognised with a Queen's Award for Enterprise to celebrate Her Majesty's 80th birthday.

Commenting on the Queen's Award, the company's chairman John Murphy said: "I would like to thank our magnificent team at St. Peter's Brewery for all their hard work over the years as well as our loyal overseas importers and agents and, of course, our bankers, advisors and suppliers.

"This has been truly a team effort and winning this award will spur us on to even greater success in the future."
