Police raids 'smash cocaine ring'
Cocaine worth 100,000 and about 40,000 in cash have been seized during co-ordinated drugs raids in Surrey, north London and south-west England.

The Surrey Police-led Operation Spartan saw 250 officers raid 24 addresses on Wednesday and Thursday.

Ten people were arrested in the Woking area of Surrey, while properties were searched in London and Paignton, Devon.

Police said they had "smashed a criminal network responsible for the supply of Class A drugs across Surrey".

Det Supt Gavin Stephens said: "The operation we carried out will have a significant impact upon the availability of cocaine in Surrey and demonstrates that we are determined to take action against those who think they are untouchable."
