A young tourist killed in a terrorist bomb blast in Turkey was unlawfully killed, an inquest has recorded.
Stephen Stables was injured and Helyn Bennett died in the blast
Helyn Bennett, 21, from Spennymoor, died in the minibus terror attack in the resort of Kusadasi in July 2005.
Her fiancee, Stephen Stables, 23, was badly hurt in the explosion, along with four other members of her family.
During the short hearing Coroner Andrew Tweddle said it was vital people carried on with their daily lives without giving "victory to terrorists".
Chester-le-Street Magistrates' Court heard on Tuesday how Miss Bennet died in hospital 90 minutes after the blast.
Turkish authorities said PKK Kurdish separatists were responsible for the attack, but no-one has admitted responsibility.
Ms Bennett's brother Adam, cousin Sam, aunt Toni Punshon and uncle Michael Aspinall, were all hurt in the attack.
Ms Bennet and Mr Stables, who had just bought a house together in Spennymoor, were on their first holiday abroad, and had joined her extended family for the break.
The group were on their way to the beach when the minibus blew up. Her funeral took place in August 2005.
