Hunt for e-champion business 2005
A contest aimed at rewarding firms with up to 250 employees who have invested successfully in e-commerce has invited entrants from across the region.

The seventh annual DTI/InterForum E-Commerce Awards have been launched by the East of England Development Agency.

The aim is to recognise innovation in technologies boosting communication.

Entrants are invited to take part now in time for a prize-giving on 6 October when a winner will become e-Champion 2005 and receive a prize of £50,000.

The awards are open to any UK business with up to 250 employees.

New categories have been introduced this year to reflect the changing face of e-business.

Winning points can be built up for the best use of broadband, teleworking, mobile and wireless technology, sales and marketing online, computer-based customer care and the most integrated business.
