Original Pooh book up for auction
A Kent pensioner is auctioning a rare first edition Winnie the Pooh book to raise money for charity.

Bill Williamson, 81, from Tunbridge Wells, is selling four old books by Sussex author A.A. Milne including the Winnie the Pooh book published in 1926.

A similar copy was recently put on sale for more than £5,800.

But Mrs Williamson said they do not expect their copy will fetch quite as much when it is auctioned on Friday, as it is missing the original dust jacket.

The auction is taking place at Markbeech Village Hall to raise money for Cancer Research UK.
