Teenager quizzed over explosives
A 16-year-old boy has been questioned after army bomb disposal experts carried out a controlled explosion on items found at a house.

The teenager, from Stapely near Nantwich, Cheshire, was arrested on suspicion of attempting to possess items that would cause an explosion.

Homes in Pear Tree Fields were evacuated temporarily on Friday evening while the army was called.

Cheshire Police released the boy on bail until 26 October.
