Boardroom ban for ex-soccer boss
George Reynolds
George Reynolds quit Darlington Football Club in 2004
The millionaire former chairman of Darlington Football club, George Reynolds, has agreed not to hold a directorship for eight years.

Action was taken after his chipboard and worktops company failed with estimated debts of £3.4m.

The directorship undertaking was made in relation to his conduct as a director of George Reynolds UK Limited, which operated from Shildon, Co Durham.

The firm went into compulsory liquidation in February 2003.

Mr Reynolds resigned as chairman of the Third Division club in January 2004 after it went into administration.
