An exhibition featuring the four finalists for a regional landmark is touring the east of England.

Models of a steel sculpture at Dunwich, Suffolk, a coastal project, a bridge of reeds and a movable bridge are touring Cambridge, Norwich and Chelmsford.

Richard Ellis, with the East of England Development Agency (EEDA) said: "The whole purpose of the competition was actually to fund feasibility studies.

"After that, there will be a lot of public consultation on these projects."

Judges selected the four projects in the Landmark East design competition from 12 entries, and they were voted on by the public.

The four finalists are sharing £250,000 in funding for feasibility studies.

The landmark is to represent Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Norfolk and Suffolk.
