Two Bed and Breakfasts in the region have been named as among Britain's best.
Double-Gate Farm at Godney, Somerset, and The Mill Dene near Stow on the Wold, Gloucestershire, are both recognised in a new guide as among the top 20 B&Bs in England.
The selection was for the Which? 2003 Good Bed and Breakfast Guide.
The B&Bs beat over 1,000 other establishments to be named in the top 20, and were chosen in response to readers' feedback.
'Homely feel'
The farm, located five miles from Wells and four miles from Glastonbury, describes itself as a "comfortable listed Georgian Farmhouse".
Owner Hilery Millard says her clients like the personal touch.
"They prefer the homely, laid back feel which most of us have," she told the BBC.
The Mill Dene B&B in Blockley only has three rooms, and used to be a miller's house and workplace, dating back to Norman times.
