Fireman's funeral takes place

Andrew Clinton had been a fireman for more than 20 years
The funeral has taken place of a fireman from Birmingham who died after he fell from a hydraulic platform during a training session.

Andrew Clinton, 52, sustained head injuries after the accident at Bournbrook fire station on 9 March.

He died in hospital eight days later.

Mr Clinton was given a full brigade funeral at Lodge Hill Crematorium, Weoley Castle in Birmingham.

He had been with West Midlands Fire Service for more than 20 years.

Mr Clinton leaves behind a widow, Sue, a son, Aaron and a daughter, Maxine.
