Classic passenger ship's 3m re-fit
The Balmoral
One engine will stay in Bristol
The Balmoral, a classic passenger ship which tours Britain's coastlines, is to receive new engines.

The MV Balmoral will go into dry dock in Avonmouth near Bristol for the 3m lottery-funded refit.

She has been running excursions since 1949 - making her original engines among the oldest of their type in operation.

They will go on display at the Industrial Museum in Bristol, and in Southampton.

The work should be completed by the end of May in time for the summer season.
