Horse monument is defaced
White Horse, Westbury
The defacing was one of several incidents in the West area
Anti-war protesters have defaced one of the West's most famous landmarks - the Westbury White Horse in Wiltshire.

A 10ft-high message saying Stop this War was painted in black, yellow and blue across the carved-out chalk figure

It was one of several incidents in the West over the weekend in protest against war on Iraq.

On Saturday, six people were arrested during a mass demonstration at RAF Fairford on the Wiltshire-Gloucestershire border.
