Novelist, journalist and broadcaster Bel Mooney is to give a free lecture at the University of Bath.
The lecture, entitled "Beyond Freedom: Censorship and Taboo" will take place on Thursday 27 March at 1830 GMT.
Ms Mooney was born in Liverpool and has contributed to the Daily Express, Daily Mirror and The Times, amongst others, as a feature writer and columnist.
She now lives with her husband, television journalist Jonathan Dimbleby, on an organic farm just outside Bath
She was awarded a D.Litt from the University in 1998, and is vice president of the Bath Festivals Trust.
