Sex superstore for town
Rotherham Town Hall
Rotherham planners have no control over the proposal
A site in Rotherham has been earmarked for what is claimed to be the biggest sex shop in Europe.

The sex superstore is planned for a former car showroom on Rawmarsh Road.

The 7,000 square-foot site has been used for retail purposes in the past, and the owner of the sex shop, Pulse and Cocktails, already has a licence to operate in the town.

It means it does not need further planning permission.

The store will sell specialist clothing and feature an indoor fountain.

Visitors to the site will be able to leave their vehicles on a one acre car park.

Residents close to the site have not been consulted over the proposal, because the change of use does not contravene planning regulations.
