Anti-war gig planned in London
Paul Weller
Paul Weller will play the ONE BIG NO concert
The daughter of Glastonbury Festival organiser Michael Eavis has organised a huge anti-war concert in London.

The ONE BIG NO concert will be held at The Shepherd's Bush Empire on 15 March.

Artists Paul Weller, Faithless and Evan Dando are all lined up to play.

"There's not been an opportunity like this for bands to actually stand up and sing," Emily Eavis, who helps organise Glastonbury, told the BBC.

"A lot of bands I know are actually really, really passionate about it.

"I think it's more powerful too after that huge successful march - we'll drip feed the government with another little protest," she added.

Video messages are expected from Yoko Ono, David Gray and Badly Drawn Boy, with poetry from Benjamin Zephaniah.

Film director, Ken Loach, MP George Galloway and Mark Thomas will make short speeches.

2,500 tickets go on sale from 7 March.
