Mother remanded over daughter's death
Melissa Galyer, 21, of Ripon Close, Scunthorpe, appeared alongside her boyfriend Stewart Pirie, 31.
The pair were remanded in custody at Hull Crown Court until 28 April over the death of Jasmine Galyer.
Both spoke only to confirm their name.
Jasmine died from bleeding on the brain during surgery at Sheffield Children's Hospital on 5 February.
