A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder

A man has been arrested by police investigating the discovery of a woman's body in Malvern.

Kathryn Angela Allen's body was found at a house in Elgar Avenue at 0450 GMT on Sunday.

Detectives said they are treating the death of the 25-year-old as murder.

A man from Malvern was arrested within 25 minutes of her body being found.

He is being questioned by detectives.

A post mortem examination has been carried out, but details of how Ms Allen died have yet to be released.

An inquest into the death will be opened on Tuesday.
