Burglary campaign begins
Many victims of bogus callers are elderly
A campaign to help combat distraction burglaries is beginning in Worcestershire.
The Wyre Forest Partners - a group set up to promote community safety - begin their "Keep 'Em Out" tour of the county in Kidderminster on Monday. A role play called Was it my Fault? is being performed at Arch Hill Court on Orchard Street at 1300 GMT. There will also be specific advice available as to how people can best avoid becoming victims of bogus callers. Those attending the performance will additionally be able to find out how to obtain a door alarm. Monday's event is the first date of a tour which is planned to reach all areas of Wyre Forest.
