Inspector praises eight schools
Mr Bell praised the "dedication" of staff and pupils
Eight schools in Northamptonshire have been singled out for national praise.
The Chief Inspector of Schools, David Bell, has named the schools in the annual Ofsted report. Six of the schools mentioned have been praised for receiving outstanding inspection reports. They are Alfred Street Junior in Rushden; All Saints and the Croyland Nursery in Wellingborough; Gayton Primary; Northampton School for Boys; and St Gregory's Lower in Northampton. And Sunnyside Lower and Kingsley Park Middle schools in Northampton are both highlighted for their efforts in coming out of special measures. They are among 600 schools in England praised in the report. Mr Bell said: "I believe these success stories are a testament to both the talent and dedication of the staff who work in these schools and colleges and the pupils themselves."
