New bus station for Bristol
The new station will include a coroner's court
A proposal to rebuild a bus station in Bristol has been submitted.
Developers Amey Barclay have lodged a blueprint for regenerating the city's run-down bus station, in Marlborough Street, with the council. It will include a new magistrate's and coroner's court, a probation service area and affordable accommodation. If planning permission is granted, work could begin on the site by Autumn of this year, with completion in 2005.
