Man bailed after suspicious death
Police/ambulance generic
The man died about two hours after he was found
Police in Manchester investigating the death of a man who was found collapsed in the street have released a man on bail.

The 47-year-old man was arrested on Friday night, after the 33-year-old victim was found in Belle Vue by door staff at a nearby pool club.

Ambulance crews were called at about 2200 GMT, and took the victim - who came from Cleveland - to Manchester Royal Infirmary, where he died about two hours later.

Greater Manchester Police later confirmed they were treating his death as suspicious.

Witness appeal

He was found collapsed close to Suzy Q's pool hall in Kirkmanshulme Lane, and police later sealed off the scene.

A post-mortem examination of the victim's body was carried out on Saturday, although the results have not yet been released.

The 47-year-old arrested man was bailed on Sunday pending further inquiries.
