Award for 'stay-at-home' gardener
Robin Eveleigh
Robin Eveleigh set up his business with a trust grant
A gardener who set up his own business after recovering from a form of agoraphobia has been honoured by the Prince's Trust.

Robin Eveleigh set up his business with a 500 loan and a grant from the trust, which has now made his enterprise its Business of the Year.

Before establishing the business the Bristol man had been out of work and was suffering from a mild form of agoraphobia.

He said: "The customers didn't know about the agoraphobia because I kept it to myself.

'Very impressed'

"But setting the business up has been fantastic for my confidence which has helped overcome the problems that I had."

Rob Small of the trust said: " I remember when I interviewed Robin a few years ago and I was very impressed then.

"He showed tenacity and a determination to make something of his life."

Mr Eveleigh will now go forward to the national finals of the Prince's Trust awards in London.
