Hunt for bus station sex attacker

The teenager managed to escape her attacker
Police have issued an e-fit image of a man they wish to question about a serious sex attack on a teenage girl.

The 17-year-old was with two friends when she was approached by a man at Basingstoke bus station, Hampshire.

The three then walked with the stranger towards the Eastrop roundabout in the town.

Shortly afterwards, the woman says she was sexually assaulted by the stranger.

The alleged attack occurred between 2200 GMT and 2300 GMT

The victim managed to escape and ran back to the bus station where she was discovered in a distressed state.

The teenager has described her attacker as white, 5 ft 6 ins tall, aged 17 to 25 with black hair gelled back and wearing black jeans, training shoes and a black jacket.
