Men questioned over illegal whisky distillery
The farm buildings in Shropshire which were raided by customs officers
A whisky still was found in the buildings
Two men have been questioned in connection with running an illegal whisky distillery in Shropshire.

Customs Officers raided farm buildings near Bridgnorth where they found a whisky still and equipment for converting red diesel - which carries a low excise duty- into normal diesel fuel.

Bottling machinery and cases labelled Scotch Whisky were also found in the buildings

A spokesman said it appeared the set-up was capable of producing thousands of litres of whisky a week.

The men, who were arrested on Monday morning, have been released on bail while inquiries continue.
