Drugs warning to clubbers

Police say they do not want a tragedy on their hands
A warning has been issued to clubgoers in Sheffield about the dangers of mixing drugs.

Police say they have received reports over the Christmas period of people allegedly suffering serious reactions to the effects of the drugs.

Detective Superintendent Steve Titterton, of Attercliffe Police, said: "We have had a number of people collapsing in Sheffield and we are issuing a warning now because we don't want a tragedy on our hands.

"Mixing drugs, or indeed taking drugs at all, can be very dangerous.

"We would urge people not to do it and have a good time without the help of drugs."
