Pair charged over school fire
Thorndean Secondary School in Hampshire
It took two hours to bring the fire under control
Two teenagers have been charged with arson in connection with a fire at a school in Hampshire.

The pair, aged 16 and 17, were arrested on Sunday night in connection with the fire which severely damaged Thornden School.

The fire spread rapidly through a wing of the building and took fire crews nearly two hours to bring under control.

The 1,300 pupils at the Chandler's Ford school have been told the school will remain closed for at least the next two days.
