Brady breaks silence over Hindley's death
Ian Brady
Brady is in the fourth year of a hunger strike
The Moors Murderer Ian Brady has broken his silence over the death of Myra Hindley.

In a letter to a Liverpool news agency he speaks of his wish to die as his partner in crime did last month.

He is also understood to have speculated about the circumstances surrounding Hindley's death and her possible release under European law.

Brady is in the fourth year of a hunger strike at Ashworth Hospital, in Merseyside, where he is being fed via a nasal tube.

He criticises the government and staff at the high security hospital for force-feeding him and denying him the right to die.

He also reiterates his intention never to seek freedom after spending 36 years in prison.

Hindley, who never gave up hope of release, died in a Suffolk Hospital from respiratory problems in November.
