New Canaries plan unveiled
The South Stand
Work on the South Stand should start in the spring
Plans for a new 6.5m stand at Norwich City will include a 1,500-seat corner section.

If planning consent is granted, the extra 9,500 seats in the new stand and corner section combined will increase the capacity at Carrow Road by about 4,000 to approximately 25,500.

The plans are to be submitted to Norwich City Council in December 2002 and work on the South Stand is expected to start in the spring.

Local firm RG Carter has won the contract to build the stand.
