Danielle uncle's 'glamour agency claims'
Stuart Campbell
Mr Campbell denies abducting and murdering his niece
The man accused of killing his 15-year-old niece Danielle Jones photographed teenagers and told them he worked for a glamour agency, a court heard.

One woman wept as she told the jury how Stuart Campbell had persuaded her as a 15-year-old to go to his home and be photographed.

Caroline Thompson, now 22, told Chelmsford Crown Court Mr Campbell had approached her in August 1995 in Grays, Essex.

He had persuaded her to return to his home where he photographed her.

"He asked me to take my skirt off and I said I didn't want to," she said.

The next thing she recalled was being on a settee and topless, although she said she did not think Mr Campbell had removed her top.

Earlier, Neeley Bundock told jurors Mr Campbell had approached her as a 15-year-old five years ago on her way home from school in Tilbury.

He told her he worked for a glamour agency and had given her his business card after offering to produce a free portfolio of photographs of her.

Session cancelled

Miss Bundock said arrangements had been made for her to be photographed but the session was cancelled when she asked if her elder sister could accompany them on the shoot.

Her mother, Susan Bundock, said she had been very angry over Mr Campbell's approach but had been convinced by his professional manner when he called at the family's house.

On Monday, the jury was told that Mr Campbell had taken topless pictures of two other 16-year-old schoolgirls at his house after he told them he was a photographer.

Prosecutors say Mr Campbell was obsessed with Danielle and had a fixation with teenage girls.

Mr Campbell, 44, from Grays, Essex, denies the kidnap and murder of Danielle from East Tilbury.

She was last seen walking to catch a bus to school on 18 June 2001.

The trial was adjourned until Wednesday.
