Van driver denies police murders
PCs Bryan Moore and Andrew Munn
PCs Moore and Munn were killed in the crash
A man has denied murdering two police officers who died after their car was hit by a van in Leicestershire.

Leayon Dudley, from Acocks Green in Birmingham, is accused of killing PC Bryan Moore, 39, and PC Andrew Munn, 37 in the crash on the A42 at Worthington.

The officers had been laying a "stinger" device to stop the van.

The van collided with the policemen's Ford Mondeo, which burst into flames.

Mr Dudley, 38, who suffered minor injuries in the accident, appeared at Nottingham Crown Court on Tuesday.

Mr Dudley was remanded back into custody, and the case was adjourned for a later trial.
