Police raid video factory
Equipment has been removed from the site
Police have raided a counterfeit video factory in Suffolk, arresting two men and seizing 10,000 videos including illegal copies of Lord of the Rings.
Officers also seized 200 video machines in the raid on an industrial unit in Stratford St Andrew, near Saxmundham. Norfolk Police say the videos could have been sold on the open market for about £150,000. The raid is thought to be the second largest ever made in the UK. Detective Inspector Paul Martin, from Thetford CID, said: "We entered the premises and there were 200 videos making counterfeit copies of Lord of the Rings. "Having delved into it more deeply, we found a further 10,000 videos. "My understanding is that this is the second largest raid that has been made of a counterfeiting operation of this nature."
