Six held in Albanian murder case
Denis Ceka
Denis Ceka arrived in the UK from Albania in 2000
Police investigating the murder of an Albanian asylum seeker have arrested six people.

Denis Ceka's body was found wrapped in bed sheets on a building site near Heathrow Airport in west London on 25 September.

One theory police are working on is that he may have been the victim of a 'blood feud'.

Scotland Yard says five men and a woman, all in their twenties, were arrested at two addresses in Hounslow.

Asylum refused

The 19-year-old, who moved to north London from Northampton in August, had arrived in the UK in September 2000 and claimed asylum.

His asylum application had since been refused but he was appealing the decision at the time of his death.

Mr Ceka was living in Bounds Green and was last seen by a friend near Bounds Green Tube station on 18 September.

A post mortem examination found he had died from multiple stab wounds.

Police believe he was involved in a shooting in Albania in 1999 or 2000 and are liaising with Albanian police and Interpol.

Albanian tradition, which dates from the 15th century, holds that if one man kills another "blood should always be avenged by blood" and a feudal code lays down precise rules for how the revenge should be taken.
